Chiropractic care as unique as you are
A typical appointment will include a chiropractic adjustment and a combination of supplementary care modalities as deemed appropriate. Soft tissue work, rehab exercises, and Neuro-Emotional Technique will be utilized at each appointment as needed. Dr. Kaeli has an interest in functional health and may also advise lifestyle modifications to assist you in reaching your goals.
Chiropractic Adjustments
Each chiropractic adjustment is individualized to the patient to allow for the most therapeutic benefit. Dr. Kaeli’s adjustment style has been described as gentle, yet effective. A variety of adjustment modalities are utilized including the Activator Method, Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), traditional high velocity low amplitude Diversified adjustments, and the use of a drop table. No two patients are alike, and chances are that each individual will require a different blend of care modalities at each appointment. Patient preference and presentation is always taken into account when choosing the appropriate adjustment method. Many patients prefer alternatives to traditional high force adjustments and Altalign Wellness offers an adjustment style for any preference.
Webster Technique for Pregnancy
The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis & adjustment that reduces nervous system stress, balances the bones, muscles, & ligaments of the pelvis, and optimizes the mother’s pelvic function in pregnancy and birth. Dr. Kaeli is Webster certified, and is currently pursuing Pediatric and Perinatal Certifications through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) to further specialize in pregnant and pediatric populations.
Applied Kinesiology (AK)
Applied Kinesiology (AK) uses manual muscle testing to evaluate the chemical, structural, and emotional imbalances of the body. This information is then used to tailor a treatment plan to each individual patient. AK treatments involve the use of chiropractic adjustments, myofascial therapies, cranial adjustments, acupressure meridians, clinical nutrition, and more. Dr. Kaeli has completed the 100-hour Basic Applied Kinesiology Certification course through the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK).
Neuro-Emotional Technique is used to help physical problems that have an emotional component. With NET, Dr. Kaeli uses manual muscle testing to identify and resolve the stress-related components of a patient’s physical complaints. A 2021 study found that patients receiving NET treatment had a decrease in low back pain and an increased quality of life when compared to a control group (Bablis, Pollard, & Rosner, 2022). More information can be found at www.netmindbody.com/more-information/what-is-net/.
